The 125th winner of the 2000 Guineas, held on Wednesday 26th April 1933 over the Rowley Mile, was Rodosto (9/1), a chestnut colt by Epinard out of Ramondie, owned by Princess de Lucigne. The winner won by a length in 1 minute 40.40 secs, with 3/4 length back to the third. A field of 27 runners contested the race which was worth £5,050 (Equivalent to £324,700 in 2017)
